Aaron was born in Illinois while his
parents were both in Dental school. His
father became a dentist and his mother, a hygienist. His parents soon moved to
Idaho Falls where he became an older brother to six brothers!
Aaron had a great childhood growing up out in the country. He and his brothers spent the summers building forts and obstacle courses, climbing trees and making rope swings, exploring the barn on the nearby farm and playing on the farm equipment. As the boys got older, they played basketball and football in the yard.

Aaron has terrific parents who expected a lot of their
son. The boys were given chores and
expected to get them done. Aaron was
often left in charge of his brothers and he learned to love and serve them from
a young age. His parents also taught him
to do what was right. He says he always
wanted to choose the right because if he didn’t, he would disappoint his parents
and his brothers too.
He still has a wonderful relationship with his parents and his brothers and their families. We get together often- sometimes weekly- just to laugh and eat and enjoy each other. His parents are amazing grandparents- they spoil our children and LOVE to have them come visit and spend the night.

After graduating from High School and completing a year of
college, Aaron served a life-changing two-year mission for the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints in Vina Del Mar, Chile. As he shared his religious beliefs with the
people there, he grew in his love for God and the people he taught. He learned
to act on the promptings that came from his Heavenly Father.
Aaron and I met a year after he returned home. I immediately knew he was someone I wanted to
get to know better. I loved the way he treated others. Everyone who knew him
thought highly of him. It didn’t take
long for me to fall totally and completely in love with such a kind, funny,
thoughtful and hard-working man. He has always treated me with love and respect
and gone out of his way to make me happy.
I love him more every day!
After we got married, Aaron graduated from Brigham Young
University with a degree in Construction Management. Even before graduation, he
was recruited by a company that could see his amazing potential. He went to
work for them full-time the week after graduation. He has now worked for them for fifteen
years! He has an amazing work ethic and
enjoys his work as a project manager and salesman.
Aaron is an amazing father.
He is kind and loving yet still able to wrestle and tease and make our
children giggle. Our children’s favorite
part of the day is wrestling their Dad after nighttime prayers and then getting
piggyback rides upstairs to bed. After
he tucks them in, they beg for him to tell them a story from his life. After eleven years of this tradition our
oldest son has some of the stories memorized but always wants to hear them
again-especially the one we tell every birthday about the day he and his sister
were born.

Aaron's strengths amaze me.
I am blessed to be his wife. I
cannot imagine life without Aaron and cannot wait to see him become a father
again to a very special child.
