It is very hard for us to have children. It took us seven years and resorting to In Vitro Fertilization treatments to finally conceive our first set of twins. Five years later, again with the help of IVF treatments, we were able to conceive our second set of twins. We both had the feeling that our family was not yet complete and underwent IVF two additional times in the last few years. The treatments were very hard physically on Julie who suffered for months with migraine headaches that were a result of the hormone injections necessary to ensure a pregnancy. After both pregnancies resulted in unexplained miscarriage (one at 10 weeks and one at 13 weeks) we have decided to try and complete our family through the miracle of adoption.
We both have siblings who have adopted and we love our niece and nephews so much! Julie was able to be with her sister and brother-in-law as our niece was placed by her birth mother into their arms shortly after her birth. This Thanksgiving, nearly thirteen years later, we were able to be present as our niece was reunited with her birth mother and brothers. They joined us for a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. We love adoption! We would love to welcome you and your child into our family to whatever degree you are comfortable.
